Newsy

HI!!! I have been the traveling queen! Two weekends ago I went to Minnesota with my mom to visit Jenni. I got back on Monday, worked on Tuesday, then left on Wednesday to go to Florida with Cory and his softball team {they were playing in a tournament down there}. I just got back this past Monday. It was lots of fun. The only thing is that it was like, 98 degrees there with 90% humidity. So that wasn't very much fun, but all in all it was a good time. Cory's team finished 50th out of 205 teams. So good job to Team C.I.
Anyway... I'm going back to school towards the end of October. I'm not too sure about what I'm going to pursue though. I'm leaning towards nursing, but we'll see. I'm not very excited about school in general. It just means more loans that I'm gonna have to pay back. Barf. But, I have been filling out scholarship applications online. Hopefully if I fill out enough I'll win a few and get some money coming in. That's the plan anyway.

I'm still alive!!! I know it's hard to believe. I also know I haven't posted for over 6 months, but whenever I start to post I end up stopping.
Anyway.... we just got back from vacation in South Carolina. It was a blast! I love the ocean, the pool, the warm, humid air, the sunshine; I love it all! I didn't get out in the water as much as I would have liked, but I still had a great time. I had my birthday while we were on vacation, like always, and it was great! I got to sleep in and do whatever I wanted all day long.
Cory took me out for my birthday today because we just got back from vacation this am. I had a nice time with him, but unfortunately we didn't get to spend as much time together as we would have liked, but what else is new?
Ok, I'm searching my brain here for something else to write but since I'm not coming up with anything I think I'll go to bed. It is almost 2 am after all.

I think of things to say when I'm not in front of my computer, but as soon as I sit down to post... everything leaves me. I hate that!!!!

Christmas is coming too soon.

Happy Halloween

So Cory and I went to a Halloween party as Fred and Wilma Flinstone. It sorta turned out ok. Sorta not. But whatever, we had fun.

So I went to get my foot checked out, but alas, nothing was broken. I just strained the tendons and ligaments on the top of my foot. Ouch! So, other than limping around for a couple of weeks there really isn't much else to do about it. Now I just have this really big hospital bill that needs paid. Any takers on that one? Yeah... didn't think so.
So Cory's sister, Leslie, is in the process of NOT having her baby 2 months early. Her water broke this am but she isn't in labor or anything. They're trying to hold off the birth, but they don't know how long they can do that without the baby being in trouble. So far, they said, that they baby isn't showing any signs of stress so thats a good thing, but we are still worried and praying.
Cory's other sister, Kim, announced today that she is pregnant and there is a slight chance she might be having twins. I think it's very exciting.
